We have received the following email from NASCH, unfortunately postponing the gala on 2/11/24.

To the NASCH Gala Organisers, 

Unfortunately, we have had to cancel the NASCH Gala on 2^nd

 November due to insufficient numbers of swimmers on the day. We understand for some of you this will be very disappointing but please let me reassure you that the committee are discussing next options regarding the Gala as the event is not cancelled but most likely postponed. Once decisions are made, we will of course let you know. 

Please do let all relevant swimmers know and on behalf of everyone at NASCH do pass on our apologies. We understand how disappointing this will be.

Congratulations to Ralphie Palmer who swam 25m for his badge and certificate.

There will be a committee meeting after the club session on 15th November.

Aidan Tully celebrated his 21st birthday on 3rd October and brought cake. We hope that you had a happy birthday, Aidan.

Congratulations to Tori Conlon on gaining her certificate and badge for 25m.

18 swimmers completed a 10 Minute Stamina test. 6 successfully recorded their best distance:

Kieran Kazimirow  188m; Tori Conlon 170m; Lacey Conlon 195m; Kacie Mitchell 235m; Lainey Milligan 300m; Beth Evans 337m.

Sam Lamb and Amos McGrattan equalled their previous bests.

Welcome to new member William Moore.

Thanks to Phoebe Tully for spotting the inflatable booking tomorrow until 4.30pm  -before our gala. It seems we have to wait while it is cleared away   – hopefully not too long. The pool will still allow you to change from 4pm.

Congratulations to Lucy Bowen who swam 10m for her badge and certificate today. Ĺainey Milligan was presented with her club t-shirt ready for the gala next week.

Any final donations for the tombola need to be given to Barbara next Friday to have tickets attached. Please do not bring items on 28th. 

There is another event near the Leisure Centre starting at 5pm on 28th. It would be advisable to arrive early (before 4pm?) to make sure of a parking spot.

Swimmers are reminded to wear club t-shirts and bring two towels, one for poolside and one for a shower.
