Swimming Pools have reopened 17/03/17

The swimming pools at Bedworth Leisure Centre are now open, so there will be a club swim session tonight (17/03/17)

Pool Closure Update 16/03/17

The swimming pools at Bedworth Leisure Centre should hopefully reopen tomorrow (17/03/17) at 3.30pm. However, as it suggests above. it would be best to double check before travelling to our swim session, just in case of any changes.

Bedworth Leisure Centre Closed Until Further Notice

Due to circumstances beyond their control, Bedworth Leisure Centre will be closed until further notice, so there will be no swim session on Friday 17th March. We will do our best to try and contact everyone who may not be aware, before Friday, but if you can pass the message on to any of our members that you may be in contact with, it would be appreciated. We will update you as soon as we hear any other news. Thank you.

News from 10th March 2017

Many congratulations to William Newton on being chosen as the Nuneaton and Bedworth Disabled Sports Personality of 2016. We all think it was very well deserved. William also beat his 10 minute challenge by 1m improving to 332m on 10th March.

 Congratulations also to Zac Daffern who swam 5m for his certificate and badge on 10th March.

 

News from 3rd March 2017

On 3rd March Aidan Tully swam 1000m for his certificate. Phoebe Tully improved her stamina swim to 269m and Ahmed Saidani swam 270m in the 10 minutes. Well done to all.

On 24th March, Dave White, ASA Paralympic Development Officer will run a taster night -see poster. The club session will run as usual.

Coventry Half Marathon 2017 – Fundraising for Bedworth Disabled Swimming Club.

Sally-Anne Tully will be running in the Coventry Half Marathon, on Sunday 19th March 2017, on behalf of Bedworth Disabled Swimming Club. Congratulations to Nathan Peron who can now swim unaided and gets a certificate to prove it. Daniel Fulleylove completed his National Plan Stage 4. Well done, Daniel.

News from 10th February 2017

Congratulations to the following swimmers who gained awards on 10th February:

Leanne Gardner completed her National Plan Stage 8 and also improved her 10 minute stamina test to 263m. Phil King swam 244m for his certificate and Aidan Tully equalled his best of 200m.
