Any parents or carers able to volunteer as helpers or officials at our gala on 28th September, please see Sheila on poolside.

We will be holding a tombola at the Kay Clarke Swimming Gala on 28th September, with all proceeds going to club funds. If anyone has any prizes they would like to donate, please give them to Barbara during the club session on a Friday. All donations gratefully received. Thank you.

Just a reminder that the Dudley Gala on 17th August. Report time is 1pm, with the race at 2pm.

Tonight it was 25m time trials and some handicap races for the squad lanes. The following swimmers managed to post their fastest times

Daisy Brookes  (FC,BS, BR), Braiden Hooper (FC,BS,BR), Lacey Conlon (FC,BS), Josiah Patterson (FC), Tori Conlon (BS), Lucas Brookes (BS), Josh Bailey(BR), Daniel Hodge (FC) and Beth Evans (FC). Lacey Conlon was awarded a ‘Good Work’ certificate. Congratulations to all.

The following swimmers improved their 10 minute test distances for certificates

Welcome back to the water Marie Clarke (our treasurer) after surgery and a lengthy rehabilitation.

Time trial night was an opportunity to upgrade pbs. New best times for Braiden Hooper, Lacey Conlon, Torie Conlon, Faith Bevan, Shauna Duffy, Sam Lamb, Kieran Kazimirow and Daniel Hodge.
We have a team of 6 for the Dudley Gala.

Shauna Duffy, Lucas Brookes, Josiah Patterson, Braiden Hooper, Kacie Mitchell and Ella Newitt all set best times for 25m backstroke.

There are 5 entries for the Dudley Gala (Sonia, Beth, Chloe, Jay and Gurvinder), plus Sam and Josh who are intending to enter. I need to submit entries on Friday 28th so next week is the very last opportunity to enter (2 events from 25m and 50m all strokes).

We currently have 15 entries for our team for the September gala. It is a Sprint gala – you only need to be able to swim a length!
