On 9th February, Lily Whitehead swam 10m for her badge and certificate. Braiden Hooper completed his National Plan Stage 2. Meanwhile all our competitive swimmers were swimming time checks for the Rugby Gala. We have a team of 13 individual swimmers at present and 3 relay teams. Entries, with times, have to be in by the end of the month.

Para Swimming Sessions

A tray left at the party can be collected any Friday evening from poolside.

There is a swim session next week on Friday 22nd December. The pool is closed the following week on 29th December and we are open again as usual on Friday 5th January 2024.

Here are the Christmas opening times for Everyone Active. The final swim of the year for our club is on Friday 22nd December 2023. We are closed on Friday 29th December 2023. Our first swim session of the new year is on Friday 5th January 2024.

Well done to all the sponsored swimmers who completed lots and lots of lengths.

As well as taking part in the sponsored swim, some swimmers got awards on the way.
Kacie Mitchell 100m badge and certificate
Ella Newitt 100m and will be presented with her badge and certificate at the Christmas Party.
Amos McGrattan 1500m badge and certificate
Jay Ellis (750m), Sam Lamb (1250m), Matthew Lewis (1500m) and Amos McGrattan all beat their 1 Hour swim records.

Remember that next week is the Presentation Evening and Christmas Party from 8.15pm until 9.15pm. If you have not been for a while you are still welcome to come along. Just bring a plate of food. There will be a swim the following week ( 22nd ) before the pool closes for Christmas.
