First the bad news
Sonia was not swimming as her guide dog died during the night. They must be truly heartbroken.
Callie Sephton and her sister Paige have not been for a while. Callie is recovering after being knocked down by a car and hospitalised. They hope to be back in about October.
The expected date for a replacement pool hoist is now the end of September, which has implications for our gala. We may have to rely on our famous four person horizontal lift!
Then the good news
Sam Lamb was presented with his t-shirt for regular attendance.
Good luck to Sam, Josh and Chloe who have entered Dudley Gala at Halesowen tomorrow.

We will be holding a tombola at The Kay Clarke Gala on 23rd September 2023. If anyone has any prizes that they would like to donate, please pass them onto Barbara, during the swim session on a Friday evening. All proceeds will go to club funds. Many thanks.

It was good to meet Lucy Wilkes from Think Active who joined us for our session this week.

It was rather a busy session because the small pool was closed this evening due to a low water temperature.
Some swimmers managed personal bests in a time trial session.
