News From 4th February 2022

On 4th February, William Newton set a new club sprint record of 15.23 secs for 25m freestyle, breaking Cole Lyson’s record that had remained out of reach since 2015. William had a good night, also improving his sprint times for breaststroke and butterfly. Very well done William! Josh Bailey set a new backstoke time.

A relay team of Josh, Gurvinder and Aidan won a first race against William, Seth and Chloe but had to give way in the second, finishing all square at one race each.

News From 28th January 2022

Congratulations to Marsha Marshall who completed Stage 2 of the National Plan on 28th January.  William Newton, Josh Bailey and Seth Naylor improved their times for 100m Freestyle. Sara Baxter set a 50m time.

News From 21st January 2022

Congratulations to Sara Baxter (193m) and William Newton (598m) who achieved best distances for 10 minute timed swim certificates. Aidan Tully and Elliot Morrison equalled their previous bests.

News From 14th January 2022

Congratulations to Daniel Hodge who reached his 20 mile target on 14th January for a certificate. William Newton and Seth Naylor set best times for 25  Backstroke.

Swimming Pool Changing Rooms Reopened

As of today (13/01/22), the swimming pool changing rooms at Bedworth Leisure Centre have reopened, following the refurbishment. Could you please use these changing rooms, instead of the gym changing rooms when going for a swim. Thank you.

News from 17th December 2021

On 17th December five swimmers beat their best times for 25m freestyle and moved up the club ranking list:
William Newton,Josh Bailey, Elliot Morrison, Gurvinder Garcha and Seth Naylor.
Thank you to chairperson Barbara Lanwarne for organising all the end of year gifts for swimmers and staff.
Have a great Christmas and New Year. The next club session is on 7th January, 2022.

News From 10th December 2021

Happy 21st Birthday to Gurvinder! Gurvinder’s grandad, Kuldip and his uncle treated everyone to a great party after swimming. Thank you from all of us.
Congratulations to Emily Robbins who has completed 15 miles of swimming for a certificate despite having a long unavoidable break due to Covid.
Chloe Lawrence (256m) and Daniel Hodge (268m) beat their best distances in a 10 minute timed swim. Several other swimmers were close to their bests. Well done to all.
