Congratulations to Sophie Neville who completed her National Plan Stage 1.

Thirteen swimmers attempted the 10 Minute Challenge (distance covered in 10 minutes).

Four beat their previous bests for a certificate. Well done Ella Newitt (210m), Daisy Brookes (375m), Sonia Kelly (375m) and Lucas Brookes (450m).

The ranking list has been updated after the Rugby Gala.

Results of the Rugby Games Swimming Gala are attached. 

We had 23 best performances and rather too many speeding tickets, although to beat your best time by 15% is a great performance. A few swimmers were started early by the officials and Kacie wasn’t started at all in one of her races. However, we still managed 13 Gold, 7 Silver and 9 Bronze plaques.

As usual there will be special certificates for swimmers who were unlucky enough to swim too fast for a place award. A special mention for Ella Newitt who has worked so hard on her strokes, improved her front crawl breathing and got three speeding tickets.

the orgainisers have asked if anyone found any items put into their bags by mistake as some people are missing items including a set of car keys.  Please can you ring  07967 964407 if you have come across any items that are not yours.
