We have 18 individual entries and 4 relay teams entered in Tamworth Gala on Saturday. The start time is 6.00pm – swimmers to report at 5.15pm.

The sponsored swim that Julie Ryan and Marie Clarke completed on 5th April has raised a grand total of £249.21 for club funds. Julie swam 70 lengths and Marie swam 50 lengths. Many thanks to everyone who sponsored them.

The main pool at Bedworth will be closed tonight, (3rd May 2013), following an accident. The small pool will be open as usual for lessons.
Hoodies

Is there anyone who would like to order a hoodie that hasn’t already done so? We are still trying to collect enough orders so that we can take advantage of the promotional deal. They will be in Royal Blue, with the club logo on and are in sizes, small (34-36″), medium (38-40″), large (42-44″), extra large (46-48″) or extra extra large ( 50-52″). We are asking members to pay £10 each (including post and packing). If you would like to order one, please let Marie Clarke know. You can download an order form from the link below. Thanks to everyone who has already placed their order, once I have a minimum of 24 hoodies, we can send the order off to the company.

Congratulations to Amelie Willson who completed her NASCH 3 award.
Tour de France Sweepstake tickets will be available for purchase on poolside until the draw on 21st June. If anyone would like to take some to sell to friends and family it will help boost club funds. Tickets are only £1 each and just a name a phone number is needed. There will be a more detailed explanation of how it works when the teams are announced.

100th Tour De France Sweepstake Draw

We are holding a sweep stake draw for the 2013 Tour De France, the 100th race. The £1 tickets, which can be downloaded below. entitles the holder to a stake in one of the 22 teams. The draw for a team for each ticket will take place on Friday 21st June 2013. The race begins on 29th June. The draw will be published here on our website. The holders of the ticket/s for the winning team will share half of the money received will be used to top up club funds.
