Here are the Bedworth Disabled Swimming Club Team Results from the Tamworth Gala on 16th June 2012. Well done everyone!

Results 2012

Here are the results of the Tamworth Gala from 16th June 2012. It was a great night and the Bedworth Disabled Swimming Club Team were second overall. Well done to everyone.

We have received the sad news that Kay Clarke (Marie’s Mum) passed away peacefully on 1st June. Kay has been a member of the Club’s Committee for over 30 years and will be sadly missed. Marie and family have requested family flowers only, with donations if desired, to Bedworth Disabled Swimming Club. If anyone would like to make a donation, they can do so C/O D B Devall and Son Ltd, 2 Wembrook House, The Green, Attleborough, Nuneaton, Warwickshire, CV11 4JF.  The donations are for Kathleen Clarke and cheques should be made payable to Bedworth Disabled Swimming Club.

Many thanks to everyone who helped out on our stall at this year’s carnival. We raised a total of £76.50, which was slightly more than last year. We had several games on the stall, including a Lucky Dip, Name the Teddy Bear, Tour De France Sweepstake tickets and a Treasure Hunt Map, but the Tombola proved to be by far the most popular attraction. We also had several enquiries from potential new members who asked for details of the club, so it all helps.

Everyone looked great in their club t-shirts (with a special mention to Joy and Mark who dressed well for the occasion!)
